What Are the Benefits of Membership at the Glasgow Rec Center?
There are several benefits to having a Membership at the Glasgow Rec Center, including:

- Access to Boonslick Heartland YMCA
- 24/7 keypad access to the facility
- Enjoy pickleball courts and a basketball court
As an added bonus, just like Membership at the BHYMCA your Membership at the Glasgow Rec Center will provide you with free guest access to numerous YMCA's throughout the country, including most other Y's right here in Missouri!
The opposite also holds true: the BHYMCA honors Memberships from all other YMCA's with unlimited free Guest access during staffed hours.

What Are My Options For Membership?
Below is an overview of our Membership types, along with the Monthly and Annual fees associated with each.

Starting fees for new memberships include a $25 one-time Administrative Fee charged to all memberships at the time of startup, along with a prorated fee for the remainder of the current month.
There are no contracts: if and when you decide you no longer need or want your Membership, simply submit a cancellation. Your account will remain active until the end of your current billing period, at which point it will terminate automatically. We do not provide refunds for Membership payments.
Cancellation of Membership must be submitted in writing, either in person via a Cancellation Form at the Front Desk, or via e-mail sent to bhymcafrontdesk@gmail.com: Membership can not be cancelled via phone call.
We have several Membership types, with several different payment options to ensure that you get the Membership that's right for you. Available payment methods include:
- Monthly Auto-Pay: your membership is set to pay automatically every month via a checking/savings account or credit debit card.
- Quarterly or Semi-Annually: your membership is set to pay every 3 or 6 months, either automatically or via invoice: payments are made at the beginning of each 3 or 6 month period.
- Annually: your membership is paid every 12 months, either automatically or via invoice. Annual payments are discounted from the standard Monthly rate.
Do I Have to Be a Member to Use the YMCA?
While being a Member certainly has its benefits, Membership is not required to use the YMCA. Non-Members may pay a daily fee to use the facility as Guests: this is a per-day fee that grants facility access for the entire day, even if you leave and come back later in the day!
Guest passes are only available when visiting with a current member.
If you leave the facility you are not guaranteed re-entry unless you return with the member.

If you've never been to the BHYMCA, any of our Branch Facilities, or participated in any of our programs before, you will need to complete a Guest & Participant Application before you will be able to use the facility.
This can be done at the Front Desk the first time you visit the BHYMCA, or you may click the corresponding button under Applications below here to download the form and fill it out ahead of time: the form will still need to be turned in at the Front Desk of the BHYMCA.

Note: Guest & Participant Applications for individuals under age 18 must be filled out and signed by a Parent or Guardian, with said Legal Guardian listed as the Primary Contact on the application.

Staffed Hours of Operation
The Glasgow Rec Center is unstaffed and runs as a 24/7 program. For membership information, contact Angie at angiep@bhymca.org. We can arrange for a staff member to meet you and assist you at the rec center by appointment.
