Birthdays at the BHYMCA! -
If you didn't know, you can reserve a room and the pool and have your birthday party here at the Boonslick Heartland YMCA!
A two-hour rental, birthday parties at the BHYMCA consist of an hour in the pool, followed by an hour in the designated party room: this arrangement is non-negotiable. Parents may arrive up to 15 minutes before the start of the two-hour time slot to prepare the room (decorate, etc.).
Parties are limited to up to 20 swimmers: parties that wish to exceed this limit will be charged a fee to staff a second lifeguard for the party.

Terms and Conditions
- Children ages 6 and under must be accompanied into the pool by an adult age 18 or older, with a ratio of no greater than four children to each adult. Parents of children who are non-swimmers may bring their own flotation devices: this has no effect on the above parent to child ratio.
- Swimmers may be required to pass a Deep Water Test at the discretion of the Lifeguard before being allowed in the deep end.
- The YMCA will not provide flotation devices: furthermore, flotation devices are not allowed in the deep end.
- Beverages and food items are not allowed in the pool area under any circumstances.
- Parties are 2 hours in length. Pool parties; 1st hour is held in the pool, 2nd hour is held in the designated party room. Guests may not return to the pool after eating.
- Parents and guests may arrive up to 15 minutes prior to the scheduled time of the party to decorate.
- Refrigeration & cooking facilities will not be provided!
- Electricity for music or other electronics is available: music and electronics will not be provided.
- Refreshments and any goods or sundries such as plates, utensils, etc. are not provided, and must be supplied by the parents.
- The BHYMCA will provide garbage cans, and staff may assist with clean-up upon request.
- Parents and guests must be out of the room no more than 15 minutes after scheduled party. If there is a delay, an additional $10 fee will be charged.
- A $20 deposit is due at the time the party is booked. This deposit will only be refunded if the party is cancelled at least 5 days prior to the scheduled date of the party. The deposit is included in the total cost of the party.
- Parties must be booked no later than 2 weeks in advance. If we can accommodate the date and time, we will do our best to do so. The total balance is due 5 days prior to the date of the party.
- Parties expecting more than 20 swimming guests will require an additional lifeguard, and will be charged an additional $15 fee per hour of pool usage.

A minimum $20 deposit is due at the time of reservation, with the full balance due 5 business days prior to the date of the party: deposit is included in the Reservation Fee. This deposit is only refundable if the party is cancelled at least 5 days prior to the date of the party. * If you are wanting the pool for longer than one hour or if your party will exceed, two hours this must be discussed at the time of scheduling your rental.
