The Y is a great starting point for many of our community's youth to begin down the path of healthy living. And that means more than just building and reinforcing a healthy, active lifestyle that will remain with kids well beyond their formative years: it means embracing, supporting, and developing the potential that lies within each and every youth. From building the confidence that comes from learning how to swim to building positive, healthy relationships that lead to things like good sportsmanship and teamwork, the Y strives to help every child learn to be the best they can, one program at a time.
Here at the BHYMCA, our Youth Sports Programs are seasonal, following our Seasonal Program Scheduling. Programs are split between three seasons: Winter & Spring, Summer, and Fall, with a corresponding Program Guide mailed out at the beginning of each Program Season. Below is a comprehensive list of all Youth Sports Programs that we offer regularly, divided into their respective Program Seasons. Some of our Youth Sports Programs may have a Registration Deadline that they require all registrations to be submitted by.
If you miss the deadline, don't worry: registrations will still be accepted after the deadline, but will have a $5 Late Registration fee applied to their cost.
The Y relies on volunteers for several of its programs, and our Youth Sports are no exception. If you'd like to volunteer as a coach or referee for any of our Youth Sports Programs, contact our Sports Coordinator for more information.

Tae Kwon Do (6 and Up)
Martial arts are an excellent way for individuals to build strength, focus and discipline. This program teaches the Youn Wha Ryu discipline. Classes meet continuously Monday through Thursday from 5:00 - 6:30 PM.
Fees & Pricing
Registration fees for the Tae Kwon Do program are on a monthly basis, and are not eligible for Y Financial Assistance.
